Villagers gather in their numbers to undergo spiritual cleansing in celebration of Eri festival in Anambra state

People of Aguleri community in Anambra state gathered in their numbers to undergo a spiritual cleansing in commemoration of the 2016 Olili Obibia Eri (Eri Festival). The villagers led by their traditional ruler, His Majesty, Eze Eri (Ezeora 34th & Aka Ji Ovo Igbo) gathered at the Omabala river in Aguleri where prayers were said before the spiritual cleansing began.

House boy murders his boss with machete and scissors

A 26 year old Burkinabe Ghana based has murdered his boss who happens to be a former Principal of St. Monica’s Training College at Asante Mampong to death. The culprit identified as Osman Yakubu committed the gruesome act at about 9pm on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at the residence of the deceased Lucy Perah Tawaih in Abelemkpe, Accra.

Justin Bieber places an ad to party with 6 girls in Prague after his live concert

Singer Justin Bieber, 22, on Saturday evening partied with six girls in his hotel suite after his live performance at the O2 Arena Prague in the Czech Republic. He reportedly placed an ad on  Facebook through a local modelling agency employee known only as Daniela.  The ad asked for eight girls to party with Bieber within an hour, at downtown Hemingway Bar in the Czech capital shortly after his gig but only 6 showed up because of the short notice.

Electricity Regulator Says Nigerians Have Right To Reject Estimated Billing

The Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission is asking electricity consumers to reject any estimated billing from distribution companies, saying such action contravenes the laws regulating the sector. The Acting Chairman of the Commission, Mr Anthony Akah, gave the advice in Abuja when the House Committee on Power made its oversight visit to the commission.
